Quick Change Master Tooling: Reducing machine changeover / setup time is crucial for keeping the thermoforming machine running. There is no money to be made in down time! Therefore, for faster setups J&R offers quick change master tooling which eliminates climbing into the press to manually bolt and unbolt the custom tooling package.
The system utilizes special female cylinders which engage with mating male knobs to create a strong, safe and secure hold of the tooling package. Quick change tooling only requires air pressure for tool removal and receipt. Simply plug an airline into the port in the lock box to disengage the tool for removal and unplug to fasten the tool.
This extremely precise system makes for simple, reliable and efficient setups, keeping the machine running longer which translates into increased profitability.
